Remember he night matches from when I was a kid much more than the 3pm KOs.

That feeling of Walking up the gangway and seeing floodlights and the big stands.

Hope he ends up being as daft as all of us and follows BFC around the country.

I still feel like that! Nowt like a night game....booked for me and the lad yesterday. We're usually East Upper, but he asked if we could go in the Ponty this week. Do I have to sing or 'owt?

No, but it means you're a terrible father for not forcing him in to the West.

You don't have to, but sometimes, on those rare occasions when we're playing well and you just know the team are giving everything they've got, despite your better judgement, and despite the fact that you have a voice like a duck farting, you find yourself on your feet singing like a b'stard.

There's some aresholes in there, you hear some stuff that you really wish you hadn't, but when it's rocking there's not a better place in the world than The Ponty End at Oakwell.

It's where I grew up, or at least that's what the failing memory tells me. Packed in like sardines halfway up behind the goal, then through the gap at the back and into the far end of the Brewery for the second half.

He's only six mate. Took him to his first game last year - leeds away(!)

Think an evening game might be a good call - Oakwell seems a bit more magical for a night game. Although come the 66th minute if we're one down and he's freezing his balls off, I may not say the same thing!
