He claims "I picked the right team" on three separate occasions. Me thinks the man doth protest too much. Either he knows he made a mistake and has a nagging doubt about the team he picked or, like any dodgy manager, he's shifting the blame as far away from himself as he possibly can. Way to stand up and be counted Davey lad. Really big of you son.
Sounded to me like he was pissed off with the performance of what he considered (and probably still considers) to be his strongest team. Not sure what you expected him to say?
Don't know why we have a manager They obviously have no influence on anything. Isn't that right Spartacus.
influence, responsibility but little control after players are on the pitch. I wont make out he's blameless its just that niether are the players.
Of course the players aren't But neither is he. In his post match comments he did his very best to deflect any blame away from himself. I think that's bad management. A manager and his players should win together and lose together.
I know the performance was pathetic but I don't know what other team he could have chosen to make a massive difference TBH
