    Hayes no doubt scored it

And the club may have credited it to him. But it's who the league credits the goal to that matters and all stats still credit Watt.

    Tis true..

Ah well, I'm counting it as 10. He deserved two goals just for the quality of his 2nd goal yesterday, so by those rules he got a hat-trick. :)

Not from where I was sitting. It was over the line before he got near it.

Well, can't say as I'm surprised

That you thought he didn't score it. You're so fair minded when it comes to Hayes to the point of allowing your eyes to deceive you.

    It wasn't. FACT.

    If you took...

...a speck of Paul Hart's bell end cheddar, and mated it in a laboratory with a crusty winnet from the arse of Glynn Hodges, even the offspring thereby created would have been able to see that Paul Hayes scored that goal.

    Damn you Paul hayes

And proving fans who've seen 'enough games to have an opinion' wrong.

    F*cking hell

You're actually blind as a bat if you think Hayes didn't score that.

I have Barnsley World so I can watch it as many times as I want, and even a Hayes hater like you can't be so visually deceived as to believe it didn't touch him. It was at least 3 or 4 yards out and wouldnt have gone in if it didnt hit him.

It was going in from Watt I think, just in the corner or off the inside of the post ar worst. But it hit Hayes and nearly didn't go in, if it did cross the line that is!! lol

The ball cleary moves direction, I remember at the time sat above in the ponty end thinking it hit him!!

    I know

Just wanted to point out that the match list on the programme fixtures and results page says "Hayes 1" in the 1-1 draw with Rotherham.

    I'm counting it as 10 anyway. :)

RE: Well, can't say as I'm surprised

that you lot think he did score it. You are so far up his arse that if he touches the ball five minutes before someone else scores, you give him an assist. I was sat looking down the line and he was NOT the scorer.
Just to set the record straight, I do not hate Hayes and I would love him to be successful but I don't think that he is a "class" player as you are so fond of saying. He may become one but I doubt it very much. You stick to your opinion and I'll stick to mine and at the end of the day we'll see who's specs need changing.

    I am more than happy..

to send you a video of the most blatant lie I've ever heard and prove that Hayes touched it about 3 yards out.

But I'm not going to waste my time. Watch his second goal from last night, his finish against Scunny, his chip against Gillingham, and then tell me he has no class.

Why do you think the board picked Andy Ritchie as manager and not Nathan Jarman.

Three half decent goals, generally against inferior opposition, out of 21 games and you think that makes him a "class" player. I think that says it all.

    TEN goals in 24 starts.

    Disastrous. Worst striking record ever.
