Just received a message from Bob - oldtimer 1928

    he has been in hospital all week having tests to see why he has lost the use of his right arm and keeps suffering memory lapses. The Consultants can't find out what's wrong with him.

    He wants to say thanks to everyone for caring about him, we haven't got to worry about him, he's ok and that he's had a good life and also to thank Simon Davey and Barnsley Football Club for giving him something to concentrate on.

    Awful news. Wonderful bloke.

    I hope it turns out alright but I honestly fear the worst hearing something like that. Great fellow - so brave. Thoughts are with him now.
