    We had him on loan at Southend a few seasons ago when he was at Sunderland. He's a centre back built like the proverbial brick sanitary outbuilding but suffered from some awful lapses in concentration and committed too many fouls in dangerous places for my liking. The Football League Show highlights that I saw last season revealed similar shortcomings at Oldham. Great when he's on his game but has a laxative effect on supporters when he's not. Good luck with him.
