...for believing the squad was strong enough to stay in the division.

One good half (complete with wasted chances) / one bad half (with hapless defending).

 

Seems Like Nothing As Changed.....

when it comes to the management not realising we have needed to strengthen the defence since the summer.

 

They do know we need to strengthen.

Nobody in the league has really signed any defenders - we tried to sign Ehiogu and he went to Leeds - and theres nothing we can do about it until January now. Kay will be back next week, and we'll bring in defenders in January.</p>

If Ritchie really thought all we needed was Danny Cadamarteri, then the sacking was right.</p>

 

Well, it's STILL not strong enough!

Nothing as changed yet , I expect major changes in January.

Dont forget, it was short notice for these players to come in. Now, when January comes they wil have had plenty of time and I expect our team to look quite different come February 1st.

 

Maybe we sign the young lad from West Ham til end of season ,

but McCann and Knight will be no loss based on what I have seen so far.
