    Speaking of Rabbits

Rabbits might not be that well known for their bravery, but one pet bunny in Australia helped save its owners' lives when their home caught fire.

The couple were asleep in bed when the flames started to sweep through their house.

Their pet rabbit, called Rabbit, hopped to their bedroom door and made as much noise as it could to wake them.

The house was badly burnt, but they had a lucky escape from the blaze thanks to Rabbit.

Fire officers said they'd never heard of a bunny acting as a fire alarm before.

Nick Beagley said: "I've got to say this is the first time that I've ever heard of a rabbit bringing a fire to somebody's attention."

Rabbit's owner, Michelle Finn, said she and her husband were "extremely lucky".

"I mean we've lost probably a lot of the important stuff, like personal photos and all of that sort of gear, but we're here," she added.
