Its a very bizarre job to take. They have consistantly overspent with significant losses season on season yet underperform season on season.

They are bottom of the league and must be odds on to go down. And O'Driscoll said it wasn't the right time to return so soon after Forest.

I am glad we have appointed Flicker, I think we've dodged a bullet there.

I'm sure flitcroft will use this as an incentive to try and stay above them in the league and beat them in a few weeks. Come on lads let's show him

Wait til he has them playing triangles in their own half, 80% poss and 3 shots on target.

    They'll love it.

Not totally unexpected though,he applied for the Bristol job at the same time as McInnes,so perhaps it's just oe of those clubs he fancies on a long term basis.

I'll add to that their terrible ground that's decaying away and they have tried without success to move from for years now. Could be a double relegation this season for the city of Brizzle.

not that bizarre, when you think about it. he will have probably been offered twice what we offered, and the owner will have assured him they intend to spend their way out of trouble...again. 'too soon' my ar$e

Considering Bristol is a vast city they should be averaging way more than 3k more than a little town like Barnsley. You watch if they ever did get a brand new ground it would be Brighton Syndrome.

Well i guess he showed his true colors, given he didn't want to take a management role so soon after Forrest. I guess the cynic in me and logic here says he lied to us. Not a bad move then for us that he didn't accept. Makes a mockery out of the whole 'SOD Statement' doesn't it? Is that what he means by the way football is going.

What have they sold to him, they could have (most likely) filled his head with all sorts of rubbish & promised him the world. the proof will be in the pudding, as they say.
