    I saw him in UEFA cup in 1996 for Boavista against Inter they got hammered but he looked special. He was partnered by a young Nuno Gomes.
    Mentioned him to my mates and when we got promoted said we should sign him. Leeds however had a deal in place for months by all accounts.

    That’s what I remember, just used to hammer it into the back of the net. One of my favourite Prem players.
