Davies should have held onto it, and Nyatanga was more interested in appealing for offside than doing his job first and defending... that goal could so easily have been avoided. Oh and Wilkinson is *****

 

Of all the things you could have said you picked on the two players who weren't at fault.

Try mentioning Pearson and Roberts ffs.

and a defender who was more bothered about pleading to the linesman instead of making sure first were not fault for the goal... I accept the whole team were ***** , but had those two done their jobs when required we would perhaps be having a replay at Oakwell.


But hey lets all bicker among ourselves I am sure the hierarchy at Oakwell and the team management staff will love having the flack deflected.

Let's get this out of the way - Johnson out. Unequivocally he has lost the team, they are not putting in the effort for him and are playing scared.

That said, the keeper made a decent save in those conditions and Nyatanga would not have got to that ball, he didn't have the impetus. Pearson lost the ball and Roberts did not get near enough to his man to stop the shot.

we will have to agree to disagree here mate... and yes the real issue is where do we go from here. I know its not great and some will argue for continuity, but how far can this 'rot' be allowed to go. Lets suppose that we do go down, and its looking increasing a realistic scenario, do you seriously think that this squad would be able to bounce straight back from League 2... I have a serious doubt about that. We could not put away a bottom 6 conference side today, Ok the FA Cup raises lower league teams.... but we are now becoming serious contenders to become a lower....MUCH LOWER... league side.

Roberts was miles away.

I've been against further managerial changes, but the team were so inept today it was unreal.

We are sinking like a stone.

I started watching in 1975 & this is the worst we have been in all that time.

Mr Cryne needs to get someone in who can at least stop the rot, as I'm sorry LJ has not got the wherewithal to turn this around.

The players are easily good enough for this league, they just need confidence and straight forward instructions from a manager that inspires.

LJ in my opinion is too technical for this division, keep it simple, there are lots of stupid footballers out there.

he is over complicating the whole show. All this statto nonsense he is using for me is *****... At this level its back to good old fashioned fare... "next time that winger goes past you.... put him over the touchline and let him know YOU are on the park and are bigger..harder and uglier than him" when faced with unsure a situation adopt this adage... "If in Doubt KICK IT OUT"... we are not doing the basics... and that's why we are where we are... The teams that get anywhere in League 1 , 2 and the conference are the ones who keep it simple, basic and direct. But these days we have to use carling opta stats and other such fecking nonsense... I do not give a damn how well a player does in training , how accurate his passes are in training, how well he takes a free kick IN FECKIN TRAINING... if he cannot do it on match day then all this statto freakin nonsense is exactly that!!!!! NONSENSE... please lets go back to basics... this is an alehouse league and it needs Alehouse tactics to get out.
