Bannan and Windass were getting a coffee at Costa. Bannan is absolutely tiny. A proper gnome.

Done well to find a train company that hasn't cancelled all trains around these parts because of a little wind.

    Hopefully it'll blow over en-route.

Quite a few cancellations in the Pennine region already. Quite fresh in Sheffield but nothing horrendous.

Is it Windy in Barnsley? we have a yellow warning here in Farnham and there is barely enough wind to fly a kite

A yellow warning would work better for a particularly virulent case of diarrhoea. You need a trumpet warning for wind.

Same here. It's all Michael Fish's fault.

Just had a look on Wikipedia, Michael Fish is only 80. Thought he looked at least 65 when he presented the weather when I was a kid in the 80's.

Didn't think it would be safe for Bannan to travel in this wind with that comb over!

Youve got to feel sorry for them having to stand all the way to London.
Third class can be a tw.at.

The loco has arrived in St Pancras just as the last carriage has set off from Sheffield.

We got the 12.00 train from Sheffield to St Pancras with no issues at all , however getting to Sheffield from Barnsley was a different matter altogether

Remember when he got it wrong in '87, saying.. "..don't worry, there isn't a storm on the way!".
And what was it, 75+ mph winds, which caused chaos and destruction!!.
