Just had a text from a mate of mine, apparently he is at a service station close to birmingham and says he has seen SD sat down in talks with who looks to be Marcus Bent. I'm not saying this is certain but it looks like Davey has decided to look elsewhere for our requirements. Can't quite understand why transfer talks would be held in a motorway service station and not at our club but I'm only passing on the message.

Maybe Marcus Bent is the footballing equivalent of Alan Partridge.

And he prefers to reside in a motorway 'Travel Tavern'.
