thereds@barnsleyfc.co.uk
FAO D Rowing
Dear Mr Rowing I urge you to reconsider the proposed arrangements before the end of the week-2 tickets per ST holder is ample-Ipswich tickets announced less than 36 hours before the game should not have any bearing on it I appreciate that the club wishes to maximise sales but in doing this should not alienate loyal fans I look forward to your reply

RE: is that his or re you guessing Whoever you send them to the reply comes from joanne@barnsleyfc.co.uk. Don't think Don (the internet is the worst thing that's been invented) Rowing knows how to use a computer.
Idiot, whats wrong with 4 tickets per season ticket holder? I say that as a none season ticket holder. There will be plenty of tickets to go round. Just like there was at Cardiff and Wembley.
idiot I'm not-I tend to agree that we will have enough tickets-however it does seem foolish to unnecessarily alienate your customers-no-one could argue with 2 per ST and then queuing for more if you need them
No mate the only freebee I have ever had off the FA was for an England v Brasil game. I will have to make the effort to get a Wembley ticket like the rest. I am a Centenary Society member, don't know if I will get priority? The free ticket was for an U15 game at Sunderland.
Who's being alienated? Not many if we have 7500 season ticket holders. I'm pissed off with all this winging about tickets and all this I've been a fan since 1912 and have never missed a game in 40 years. I have heard it so many times. If everybody who I've heard say that actually attended matches we would have a sell out every week.
RE: Centenary holders get 2 tickets before general sale Thank you Dave.
In that case I may have a spare.

where is the problem? 4 x 6000 = 24000 2 x 1000 = 2000 Its not even our allocation! Every season ticket holder WILL get one. If the gate was 13K v Ipswich (which i very mch doubt) there are only a possible further 7,000 tickets. even you the maths bloke can add that one up - 33,000. Now please tell me youd prefer to have all your friends and family scattered all over the ground and not sat next to you.
You absolute total prat. The whole reason why people have been incensed by the way that the tickets on this cup run have been sold is precisely because people who do go to games regularly have been struggling to get tickets behind some people who aren't even bothered whether we win or not. This is real anger nd not just stuff made up to moan on this bulletin board. For me the complaints about the way the box-office goes about things and deal with customers is a long standing one. It never gets addressed and it will continue to get worse.
4 is right alright I am an st holder so maybe a bit biased but we pay out in full at the start of the season, we ARE the most loyal fans because we're there every week. I know you won't all agree an I know people have got other reasons for not going every week but those are the facts. We always get 4 for these games and if you want priority buy a season ticket, those have always been the rules.
you day 4 x 6000 = 24000 2 x 1000 = 2000 I think you are wrong, for the chelsea game it was 2 per season ticket holder and out of 17,000 tickets only 1,400 went on general sale. 2 x 6000 = 12000 2 x 1000 = 2000 general sale = 1400 total = 15,400 I know that quite a few season ticket holders only got one seat, so with that in mind there MUST be closer to 7,000 season ticket holders which suddenly takes the number up to a potential 28,000 tickets gone before centenary members get a look in and I may be wrong but I read on here a few times that there are 1,500 centenary members which would be 3,000 tickets. 31k now
