I agree, but it's a team game. To single out one player every time, like we inevitably do, is pathetic. Last time I looked, there were 11 men on a team. It takes all of them, as a team, to win or lose a game.
Gaz......it dosen't matter how many they score !!!!! As long as we score more than them And this season we have had loads of chances and most of these have been missed Even in the games we have won How many games have we dominated and lost e.g. Wendy One word.....................QUALITY Or to be more precise........the lack of QUALITY
RE: Gaz......it dosen't matter how many they score !!!!! We do lack quality mate. Said that from the word go. Scoring more would be great, being able to stop the other side scoring would be great, but we can do neither. We needed to strengthen most areas before the start of the season. We didn't, and now we're paying the price.
RE: You sure mate? no you're right, but not giving a natural goalscorer a chance is also folly, christ we have persisted with enough hardworkers in the past. Give a run of six starts, if it doesn't work then, fine.
Example - if Nardia had scored against Wendy, do you think they would have got a late goal.....NO !! Cos psycologically if the opposition dosen't score then you have a chance of nicking it And this has happened to us time and time and time again But surprisingly - not just this season It was the same last season And still the problem persists
RE: Example - if Nardia had scored against Wendy, do you think they would have got a late goal.....N But he didn't. And who's to say that if he'd been on the pitch to start with we wouldn't have been down earlier, 'cos he certainly doesn't harry defenders and tackle back like Richards. Nads isn't the saviour. I've seen him miss total sitters like every other forward. Like I said, it's worth giving him a run, but only because the other options don't appear to be working, not because he's the different class that's being implied. (not necessarily by you, I might add.)
