    we do have some good pacey players coming for e.g. walcott, agbonlahore, young, lennon and im sure some more. So hopefully may have brighter future

    im not sure with that i think capello is more likely to pick players on form rather than name

    don't forget technique. I watched the game tonight and all I could think was just how far off we are from being in the same league as Holland tonight.

    We are a million miles away from being able to win the Euros, never mind the world cup.

    Couldn't disagree more.

    We have some fantastic players, probably the biggest bunch of talent in the world.

    100% of my blame goes to the FA. Why do we let them govern our football? There imcompetant. Don't admit to making mistakes and don't act quick enough to ressurect certain disasters. Everyone knew McClaren was a clown, everyone except the FA apparently. What gives them the right to appoint England managers anyway? They have very little or in some cases no football knowledge.

    Could be argued that the European Championship is harder to win than the World Cup, aside from Brazil and Argentina who else is there in the World Cup over the Europeans?
    In the World Cup you can usually pick the 2 sides that will progress from their groups.
    So you end up with a stronger European Championships, as a group containing Italy, France and Holland would suggest.
