Always the ******* answer isn't it? "We've got to find the way of getting a result and get us out of this pickle. "Everybody's had enough of a go now to say they've had a chance. Some have taken it and some haven't. "We need the right personnel and at the moment we've just got that imbalance. Tomorrow's going to be a day spent on the phone trying to see what we can muster."
What chance has Simeon Jackson had? One bit of quality tonight. But he kept a dead weight on instead.
Would love to see Bree play right wing on Saturday & Digby replace the suspended Pearson in the holding role. Harris wide left & Winnall & Smith up front
I really rated Jackson tonight, he had more movement and vision that the rest of the players on the pitch (Scowen aside of course). We have the personnel, we are just playing them all wrong!
So basically, LJs entire footballing philosophy has been reduced to trial & error, and the laws of probability. Nice one. So when he was asked 'what happens after your 100 day plan', this was the answer? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
It actually is, Pearson suspended, Hourihane injured and do you really trust Crowley playing in the Pearson role?
Unfortunately it's what happen's when you allow a man who appear's absolutely clueless to blag himself a job with a 3 1/2 yr contract tied to it. Probably say's more about the fool's who allowed themself's to be bamboozled by it though, including us fan's.
I honestly don't blame the appointment. It's very easy to look back and point the finger. He speaks well, is young and hungry, had a vision for success and to be fair, was largely backed by fans at the time and after his first 5 games everyone was massively positive. We're just in very familiar territory all of a sudden. A manager who's started cocking about and overcomplicating everything. His zones speak volumes. Stop fcukin about Lee and keep it simple. Footballers are thick. They don't get this $hit, and it's screaming out on the pitch. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Would agree with all that. He did get off to a good start, although we shouldn't forget johnson had the luxury of starting his job in the middle of a winning run started by burton/heckinbottam, spearheaded by o'sullivan, who was signed by burton. He also won over most fan's with his positive attitude that gave genuine optimism for the future. Unfortunately he is finding out word's will only get you so far. To be fair we could discuss whether sacking another manager is the right/wrong thing to do all day and not come up with a definitive answer. Johnson is the only one who can do something about the decision cryne may/may not have to make, but unless he, like you quite eloquently put, stops fcukin about, crynes decision will be an easy one.
Was he? I thought Wilson was sacked, a few weeks later, LJ appointed then on the friday after LJ got announced, JOS came in. It's clear our managers don't have a big say in signings.
