Much better second half though I'm scratching my head as to why Cadden got MOTM. Nice to see all the goals at the Ponty end for a change! We were more clinical in the end and that is what counts!

Matchday sponsor must be Scottish. Roberts kept us in the game first half so he was my MoTM. Jordan Williams if it was based on the second half, but he was dire first 45.

Bringing him on changed the game from playing terrible and losing, to a daylight robbery victory.

Agreed, Williams had a good second half. Can't go for Roberts much as I love him because of his howler for their goal, thought Philips and Macatee were possibilities too

He looked to get on the ball and be positive, beat a man and get crosses in.

They weren’t great crosses. But compared to what went before he was Stanley Matthews-esque.

    JW motm for me though.

Let's be honest Helen. No one played well enough to warrant even considering first half. (Maybe Connell even though he looked a bit off it) And tbh I thought Cadden deserved it for his performance for the second half. Which boosted the others.

I agree Helen. Thought Cadden was pretty average. I guess his and Cotters energy got us higher up the pitch at least but didn’t see any real quality from him.

Maybe I’m off my hinges but I thought Jordan Williams was excellent tonight. Reading different threads on here I’m in a minority. Perhaps I just thought he was the best of a bad bunch! The only other player I can make a case for is McAtee.

He was the only wingback who took a man on and actually beat him.

This is what happens when you drink what our defence has been drinking!

JW for me too, especially 2nd half. Ironically, he spent a lot of that 2nd half on the right flank!

    Just saying.

For me, the game changed with Cadden and Cotter's introductions, and Cadden was slightly more effective, though that wained as the game went on. Williams improved in the second half too when he was given more licence to get forward.
