RE: Don't let the old git wind you up. It'll be his inability to putt thats making him all cancky. Putting? That's the most enjoyable part of the game. In fact, it's so enjoyable I spend ages on every green having several goes, just to savour the moment. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it. I also enjoy having to chip from bunkers and from deep in heavily forested areas.
RE: Don't let the old git wind you up. It'll be his inability to putt thats making him all cancky. That's good. Everybody should 4 putt at least once in a round. Helps to focus the mind. What I enjoy is hitting a big drive watching it bounce a couple of times near to ( but NOT into) the rough then not being able to find the bastud. There are loads of Einstein-Rosen bridges on my course.
RE: Don't let the old git wind you up. It'll be his inability to putt thats making him all cancky. I can lose a ball in the middle of a fairway. Short attention span and failing eyesight - not a good combination.
