The Big Lils have returned from holiday!! A real mixed bag of weather, but it's never been cold. Dad didn't want to come home!! (doh) ff Speaking of Dad, he was not a happy bunny when we lost to Rotherham & Wigan, so he cheered himself up by drinking lots of cider & mead!!!
Mead?!! Credit crunch?!! Sounds like you had a good time ... we decided aainst Flamborough (nothing personal-honst!) They wouldn't book us in! Wasn't driving up there to find we had no pitch .... we went to Tallington Lakes nr Stamford instead. Scorchio. I got sunstroke and was ill all the way thru Mr F's birthday. :'(
Actually you probably did the right thing. When we arrived on the Saturday, we were greeted with a sea- fret that lasted for a couple of days and had been there since Thursday at least . It wasn't cold with it for a change but very off putting turning up at the coast to find you can't see anything!
Laura?
What is a 'sea-fret'. I've never heard that term before. (I been away for a while, remember)
I'm glad youse lot had a good holiday.

RE: Actually you probably did the right thing. A sea fret would have been better than throwing up with sun-stroke. I actually injured my ribs!! Shame though, was looking forward to seeing your dad attempting the cha-cha slide on the dance floor.
It's a sea fog Usually the temperature drops a lot when one rolls in. However, there wasn't a drop in temperature this year. It stayed warm.
Don't mention curry on here - some people don't like it Will probably be having a pre-match curry on Friday night, but as far as I know from Sunday there is a special offer where you get 4 free pints of mead if you have a starter and a main. Let me know what the big man's shifts are looking like - it's been too long since the last one. PS No I'm not having a vindaloo.
Dad won't finish until 10 pm And he has to be back at work for 6AM Saturday morning, so are you saying you don't want his company?
Barnsley In and out in a day - they said they are going to stick a camera in my knee. Can't say I am looking forward to walking about with a camera in my knee though. Still, I suppose they know what they are doing.
