    Not on commission but eaten Indians in Brighton in the south to Inverness in the north....possibly the best in the country along with the Pride of India in Gerrards Cross ....yum I love my Indian food..

    Has put a complaint in against the proposal to turn one of the pubs into a curry-house. Doh!

    Gutted.

    We have 7 pubs to go at ... the one in question is really struggling - it makes sense!! :(

    Yep

    The folks who run the Jinnah Restaurant in Ecclesfield were going to take it over apparently. Would have been ace, but looks like it won't happen now. Instead just an empty building that used to be a pub.
    We have to trail into town or pay £5 each way in a taxi to Jinnah to get a curry. :'(

    We tried it last week and enjoyed it.

    For the price the menu was good.

    Starters: Samosas, onion bhajis, seekh kebab and tandoori chicken wings

    Main: Chicken korma, Chicken tikka massalla, chicken jalfrezi and lamb bhuna

    Sides: Bombay Aloo, Saag Aloo and Gobi Aloo

    Rice: Plain boiled or veg pilau

    Help yourself to pickles and salad and nan bread brought to table.


    You could go to help yourself as many times as you wanted.

    Menu changing weekly?

    Not bad in my opinion, more importantly Laura loved it and she really enjoys her Indian Cuisine.

    Butlers Balti House takes some beating, but theres a few that are up there.
    I think I need to do a considered review & report back though!!
