Have to say I thought he was spot on. Seems to be a minority view tonight though on here. There are very valid arguments for sacking Hill, but I just can't see that the performance tonight was one of them. I certainly think we are more capable if staying up than Wednesday are.
it wasn,t a goal the goalkeeper was fouled that was the same ref that gave a goal last season when it went wide, hes hopeless.
But even if that goal was chalked off we still failed to beat a woeful Wednesday side. Beagrie doesn't have to watch this **** every week either.
No, but i bet they turn us over at their place on new years day if Hills still picking the team! I was going to travel down to that one an'all but unless i see a couple of wins over xmas i'll be going with my wife and daughter to a kids party, far more entertaining and a hell of a lot cheaper!!
The team selection tonight was at the wost inept, at the best insipid. Why not go 4 5 1 to take hold of the game, and then change it? We wasted 45 minutes of what is likely to be our last championship season for a long while. When Perkins an Obrien came on we achieved some purpose. For God's sake either defend or attack, but tonight was abysmal for 45 minutes, and then why play three up front, without width? I just cannot see why he chops and changes.
We just lost at home to bottom of the league and failed to score. How can our performance have been that good tonight? Many attempts were straight at Kirkland. He had two maybe three shots to save that tested him and one was in the first half when it was a lovely height to his right to save at ease.
"Many attempts were straight at Kirkland" Yep, and they certainly shouldn't have been. Tudgay was very poor tonight and missed two sitters. I will let Harewood off the one on one because he made it himself. We created good chances and individuals missed them. I accept Hill brought in those players but they should also take responsibility
