Have to Disagree Having seen it both at the match and on TV it was a clear red. Reid pulled Parker, no arguments.
Parker has a reputation and my honest opinion is that he could very easily have stayed on his feet and run through to score.
Because he's a cheat.. Even Blackpool fans acknowledge that. Dived for the freekick for the first goal, and went to ground very easily for the Red card.
RE: Because he's a cheat.. So the guy is through with only the keeper to beat and thought, Hey I dont fancy this so I'll go to ground now when I won't even get a penalty for it. If that's the case then its a good job he's a footballer 'cos he wouldn't make a brain surgeon It was a foul. No argument.
Right.. So it can't be a foul and "going to ground easily". He was clean through at Oakwell at 2-2, with no defenders, and hit the back of the North Stand. He probably didn't fancy it. Reid made contact on second view, but not enough to send him sprawling like that.
RE: Right.. Well if a forward is prone to bottling a one on one with the keeper like you reckon then I'm just glad he plays for Blackpool and not Barnsley.(blaze)
have you only watched it on tv? becauseat the match it was obvious he made certain that he MUST drag him down and he did, grabbed the back of him and pulled him down.
the tv doesnt show much but it does show contact that brought the player down and at last man he has to go.
