Not so good first half but when do we ever play two good halves in one match? Not often. Very impressed with the performance though - lots of passing movements and I have never seen so many good, sliding block tackles coming off. Cranie did a few himself and WHAT A GOAL! He just drifted away from his marker and waited for Lewin to head it to him. Proper striker's goal that  I noticed Sam Winnall got nine out of ten in the People so was looking forward to seeing why. Errrrr, why? He had a couple of headers that could have gone in and slid in for one near the end but there wasn't enough (as far as I could see) to give him such a high rating. Suppose it depends what angle you are watching the game from . The camera work was not great to be fair. No commentary either, but I suppose that will get edited in tomorrow. Once again though a big thanks to the Barnsley Player people for getting the match online so quickly. Really enjoyed watching it and might, just MIGHT, be tempted down the A1/M1 to Northampton on Tuesday. Thinking seriously about going now. Last thing - what a poor turn out by Crewe. There must have been about 30 people behind one goal and only a couple of hundred at the "home" end. As the camera was on the roof with the Barnsley fans underneath, we couldn't see them but I presume it looked pretty well full down that side. It's not a big ground after all.
Oh, forgot to say - what a refreshing change to see us play a team that were not out to cynically foul us at every opportunity and roll around in agony feigning injury. It looked like a really sporting match from both sides. Sam Winnall might have got sent off on another day but it didn't look all that bad a tackle really. The player injured didn't bear a grudge either - shook hands with Sam while still on the ground. Funny listening to the Crewe fans having a go at the ref a couple of times though. Heard "you're not fit to referee" at least once. Sure I have heard that recently
