Really can't see what all the fuss is about. Lots of positives like I said yesterday. Score and I would have been buzzing for the next week. The closing down of our two or 4 in the midfield against there 3 or 5. Pleased with the patience of the team and how they worked chances. Pleased with how the team kept going after not scoring the pen. A lot of teams heads would have gone down but the reds kept going.
or to put it another way your once again right and the vast majority who watched the game yesterday and said it was dross are wrong
The problem is we didn't collect 3 points against a very poor Doncaster side. You righty stated the team kept going but the reality is we're yet again in big trouble and one of the remedies to this problem is to beat our relegation rivals which we are not doing. We are not good enough and our position in the league backs this fact up.Flicker did a brilliant job to retain our championship status last season but he is way out of his depth this season, a fact which is backed up with strange team selections and tactics. The club are trying to reconnect with the community in order to try and boost attendances and for this Mr Mansford has to be applauded but this will all be in vain if on field matters drift as they are. My opinion is we need a change of manager. People say we have had too many changes over the last few years and I must say to some extent I agree but the changes resulted in retention of our status in this league which ultimately was the objective of making a change. We can stick with Flicker but I'm afraid that we will surrender our championship if we do. What will attendances be in league one? The board must act now before it's too late
In my opinion the 'fuss' is about us playing another very poor side and failing to win again. And why we are so negative at home against such poor sides?
I think some of the stuffs okay but not winning a game shouldn't make people go like they have. 4 unbeaten. Manchester United missed chances in midweek against bottom of there group and I bet they aren't losing it like barnsley fans are.
Do you mean the Manchester United fans who boo their manager almost every week and have called for him to be sacked?
4 unbeaten in a run of winnable games. 1 win. That's what the fuss is about. We have improved our results slightly, but we have been up against very poor opposition which needs to be taken into account.
My extended highlights would be a little visit to Debut to buy new Wedding Present album, pint in the mount beforehand, buying WSB and that's about it. Do you really think it shows improvement to okay two poor sides in succession at home, set up defensively in both and win neither.
