Great win and well done to Danny and the lads. A few observations and questions.

Although he'd played really well Jennings still has a battle to fight with his fitness. Before his last wonder goal he was hanging deep and resting, he was knackered after he scored. His career will be decided on how well he wins the battle.

Really sorry for Brown, nice lad, looks the part, but there's no area of his game that fits him for this level of football. Position, tackling, pace, confidence, cool head in a crisis? He's got none of them.

Holgate looks another winner, needs to be brought along steadily alongside bree, but they both have the potential to make it. Mahon stopped taking him on in the second half.

Could Digby play centre half? Judging on size and vision and control, if he can tackle and head a ball, he could be great. I haven't seen enough to know and the couple of minutes last night didn't show much.

Cole played better than I originally thought, he had the attention of both centre backs all game and Winnall would have had a field day.

Why doesn't Lita start, or come on earlier? Is he still injured? What does the injured list look like now!

I'd like to see us give him a go in that position. For whatever reason, he doesn't appear to have the sharpness to play in midfield at the moment. However, there's no denying, with time on the ball, he can certainly pick out a pass. Central defenders tend to have a lot more time on the ball than midfield players. And like you said, he's a big lad, he looks ideally suited to centre half to me.
