Not pretty viewing. Statues for defenders, especially at that 1st goal. Heads seemed to go down rather quickly. Is there no leadership in the side? Seemed a lack of desire to win any ball. Some players might have well been sitting in the stand for all the good they seemed to be doing on the pitch. Read a couple of posts suggesting that DW may have lost the dressing room. If true then to me it only shows a lack of professionalism by those under performing players. Have those who played yesterday no pride? Time has come for every player to take more responsibility for their actions or inactions as seemed to be the case yesterday going by those highlights. Is it a case that some players think that things would be easier in L1? Getting a rude awakening if that is the case. From a distance I would not be too critical of DW. For me the players have to man up or expect to be shipped out in January. Has the club the finance to bring in players in the January window?
Danny said it was very unlikely that we could get him here. And as much as I think he'd be slightly better than BFJ, Cranie and Lewin, he wasn't that good last season. In fact, he was ******* horrendous for the first month or two he was here. And injury prone.
