I feel worse for that, and quite angry at what's happened at Barnsley.

Out of 2 full seasons back in the championship, all we have to show is half a season when we were good away from home.

    Shocking show.

Ours wasn't a relegation battle. It was a relegation surrender. A relegation roll over and die. Getting beaten is one thing, the manner of the defeats at Forest and Derby was unacceptable. Other than the first game of the season at Bristol City, where we fielded a team including Ugbo, McDonald and Mowatt who were all quickly dispensed with, we never saw that 'couldn't care less' attitude from this group of players until Jose arrived. He transformed a poor team into a poor unmotivated team.

I'd add Sheffield United away to that list of "never turned up"
And then there were quite a few when we turned up after the game had gone. Reading and Boro away immediately come to mind.

The other results could have been so different if we had been putting pressure on the other teams. On the face of it, as things turned out, we would have needed to win, which was always unlikely at Derby However if we had even kept responding with equalisers, that could have had an influence elsewhere. Burton conceded at Preston as a direct consequence of hearing that Bolton had gone 3-2 up.

They looked pretty motivated recently against the Blades and Brentford. Admittedly that's not enough but they were good to watch on those two days. And we managed to win both games. If only we had done the same just one more time. It would have still been a rubbish season but at least we would have stayed up.

Just looked at our record at Derby. It really wasn't the place to need a result on the last day.

2 wins there in 35 years.

Yet another place we struggle at.

Lol. True, but to be fair most of the teams we struggle against have better recourses than us.

I'm hard pressed to think of a place we do well at. Workington maybe?
