    Howards sending off

    Yes he was late and it was a foul - but it was one footed. late tackles like that happen in almost every game week in week out - Yellow card or a talking to is the result in 99.99% of occurance
    If players are to be sent off for everytime they mistime a challenge like that we will have games finishing with 6 a side when its wet.

    Their guys sending off
    1 - Why was McPhail booked - players do that many times a game and no one says anything
    2 - WHy was their guy sent off - he pushed the ball out of McPhails hand - hardly a bookable offence

    3/4 of the highlights of an excellent match were taken up looking at the guy in black - thats tells you something :(( :(( :((

    I've watched it a few times and still can't see why McPhail was booked. As for Howards sending off wtf was that all about? Had the ref been in the pub with the other supporters before the game, or what?
