Just watching McClaren's views on tonights debacle.......

"We controlled the game, after 15 mins." The man has played a system that requires players far more skilful than we have at our disposal, and yet we controlled the game, what a feckin disgrace, this man will not get us through qualifying stage, he was inept and negative at Boro, this will carry over into the national setup.

It is also evident that some of the players he brought in tonight are some way short of international aptitude, Parker, Carrick, Carragher the list goes on, Rio Ferdinand is not half as good as Ledley King, and Neville, well, I'm afraid he's had his day in the sun, Ashley Cole?, don't get me started.

The FA, if it was run by footballing people, would call McClaren into Soho sqare asap and sack the gawpshite, the vast majority of England supporters did'nt want him then, we certainly don't want him now, they should offer Aston Villa the largest ever compo, and install Martin O'Niell as our national head coach from monday morning.

It's a disgrace. They ought to put their hands up, admit they've done the wrong thing, pay McClaren off, and go out and get a proper bloody manager.

Agree entirely with O'Neill, but he's the sort of person that speaks his mind, wants things done his way and takes no ****. Not an FA style appointment.
