In my minds eye I can still visualise that pr1ck celebrating at Oakwell on the last day; just to rub salt into this seasons wounds.
Forget Rochdale, irrelevant how they do. They will probably do OK under Hill but with their crowds any success won't be sustained for long. Let's not worry how a small club managed by an ex manager perform!
I know there a few Hilly fans on here, so, Wow! https://audioboom.com/boos/3058605-...heir-1-0-victory-against-port-vale-bbcrmsport
I went - four added minutes when there were no stoppages at all other than substitutions, and six extra miuntes were played. To rub more salt in, that was Rochdale's only effort on target in the whole game - they were woeful.
Sign of a good team that. Wish we'd won today/Saturday in our woeful showings. Manager of the season in our division this year, without doubt. He regularly played Matt Done, Stephen Dawson, Tom Kennedy and Calvin Andrew and has them in touch of the playoffs. Miraculous job. But yes, I know he's a daft lovely person etc.
I don't think Dale will be in a position on the 3rd of May where a result will get them in the playoffs. I think they'll fall short before then. But still, he'll swagger into the dugout at Oakwell knowing he's outperformed his budget and outperformed the club who sacked him.
Yes during the 4 added minutes there was about 2 minutes play stopped with a mass pushing and shoving incident involving nearly all the players when Vincenti got booked. That's where the extra - extra time came from.
I would rather be relegated to the Ryman's Soft Underbelly Under-Achieving Sub-League than be managed by that spawn of the Devil that is known as Keith Hill. Just a personal opinion, like.
No you wouldn't. You've threatened to withdraw your support on at least three occasions that I can recall, under all of our last three managers. So I doubt your statement is anything but an attempt at wit, which I found witty actually, the bit in bold especially.
Nowt special, couple of moments but quiet really. It weren't a great game to be fair with Port Vales awful spoiling tactics and we are down to the bare bones with injuries. TK centre half, Right back played at left back, Barry-Murphy from coaching staff on the bench - but who cares with an ending like that.
