Desperate times call for desperate measures. Need him to have the game of his life though. We all know if he has anything less, he could easily cost us goals. Not gonna attack the lad though, he's being put in a tough position and can only do his best

McNulty is a far better player than he gets credit for. Glad to have him back, particularly seen as we'll struggle to put a team out Tuesday

I was being sarcastic in my OP.Obviously Jim is a better defender than Ben Alnwick.

I'd be very surprised if he returns without kicking a ball in anger.

But, we are down to the barest of bones, so who knows?

He's not the gash player some keep suggesting anyway. In fact, in 2 of his last 3 starts we kept a clean sheet and he was very solid.

This is good news imo. Probably at least on a par with Kennedy anyway. Its a risk throwing him straight in but its a risk id take atm.

Out of adversity and all that. He's not my first choice in defence but I'll back him 100% while he is playing for us.

Thats awesome news if true - we are desperate for defenders! Whats gone on in the past doesn't really matter right now. He's a better option than alnwick! lol
