Has he actually signed a contract yet? Or is there still time for SHepherd to do what he did with Ritchie? I know its hopeful but i really cant see me wanting to watch such NEGATIVE football for the next two years. I would have much rather us play under Ritchie and lose 4-3 than go down to feeble 1-0 defeats every week. I can see MASSIVE drops in attendance next season if we are in Division 3 under this guys leadership
I'm pretty sure they sorted the contract the week after they announced it (someone please correct me if I'm wrong) So far, I have some grave concerns about Davey, including using players out of position and some baffling post-match comments (especially yesterday - if he really "couldn't ask any more of the players" then we won't get another point all season). However, he is the manager and we have to hope he has the ability to change something. Maybe it's just the first win we need and then it'll come good (I can't see it personally, but I've been wrong many times). It's not possible to judge yet, managers need time to stamp their own authority on the club. Lets just hope we've hit rock bottom for now.
He's signed a contract for this season and next.
He's obviously seen as the man to get us out of the third division.

Can u tell me where you got the information from that says he has signed a contract? Nothing on Official site or on bbc site. Last i heard was that he was offered the job after Wendy match and that a contract would be sorted later that week ie before the Southend game. Still havent heard anything myself
RE: Can u tell me where you I'm sure I heard him give an interview where he said he had a deal for 18 months.
Nothing more concrete than that I'm afraid.
