Does anyone have an accurate number of how many season ticket holders we have? Someone asked me today how many tickets I thought would be left for general sale. I estimated that we'd have about 6,000 season ticket holders & that the Centenary Society is restricted to 1,500 so, even if everyone took up their full allocation, which I know they won't, I reckon there should be around 5,000 left.
Only from memory of reading things but I think we had 5500 ST holders at the start of the season but another 900 have joined up as the season has gone on. Including quite a few half ST's. 6400.
As far as I know, we had around 7000 season ticket holders, but not sure how many centenary society members. Still, you are right, even if each season ticket holder took 2 tickets, and we sold all 1,500 centenary tickets, that still leaves about 3,000 tickets for general sale. Personally I can't see what all the panic is about, season ticket holders have got over a week to buy their own seats for Chelsea, it's not as if there are limited availability to start with like Liverpool. It's crazy! Already people are moaning about no organisation at the club and how badly fans are treated and that's after only 1 day of queuing! I know BFC don't always get it right, but for goodness sake give them a chance, they held their hands up and said it was their mistake re the Liverpool tickets, and I know I would not like to be in the box office having to deal with all those fans who are queuing! They re trying to sort it so for goodness sake, all those who moan constantley about the club, get a grip!
Dunt add up If we have 6,000 ST holdersand 1,500 Centenary and they all take 2 then that's 15,000 gone. Chelsea have taken 6,000 and the ground only holds 23,500 so that would leave 2,500. Most of 'em in the open air in the lower tier of the West stand.
best get mi coit and join that queue

there are five sections of the ground. Each section should have a couple of days dedicated to it for selling tickets for that stand. Simple really.
