Being a bit sad and anoraky, I was wondering this morning how long each of the teams that could still go down have spent in the bottom 3 this season . . . <TABLE> <TR><TD>Team</TD><TD>Weeks in bottom 3</TD><TD>Consecutive weeks in bottom 3</TD></TR> <TR><TD>Leicester</TD><TD>2</TD><TD>2</TD></TR> <TR><TD>Luton</TD><TD>8</TD><TD>8</TD></TR> <TR><TD>Barnsley</TD><TD>11</TD><TD>3</TD></TR> <TR><TD>Hull</TD><TD>26</TD><TD>12</TD></TR> <TR><TD>Leeds</TD><TD>32</TD><TD>21</TD></TR> <TR><TD>Southend</TD><TD>34</TD><TD>28</TD></TR> </TABLE> If you look at Luton's position graph at http://stats.football365.com/dom/ENG/teams/LutonTwn.html you've got to feel sorry for them. It's one hell of an end of season implosion. Leicester's figures are a bit misleading as the two weeks they spent in the drop zone were at the start of the season. I really must get out more. Perhaps Paul "Statto" D. fancies a pint and a chat about standard deviation.
i think you'll find................ I'm at variance with you on that one-(an in statistician's joke!)
