Well there was the three on his debut for starters. Judging by the highlights, the Scunny side couldn't deal with him in the JPT either.

Your question. Had a good game today, beat men plenty of times. He's done well for us on the whole.

I'm sorry but we must have been watching a different player.

    But we'll agree to disagree

Don't know about anyone else, but in the first half (for example) I saw him skin the full back on the inside & fire in a shot with his right foot which the Gillingham goalie had to go full length to save a certain goal.

Had a great game today, didn't beat his man every time but he had a good go and probably could have scored had the Gillingham defenders not made good blocks.
Was good against Swindon too, it was him who released Watkins when he scored.

Yes we certainly were watching different games, we can agree on that.

You either don't go to the match

    Or have severe cataracts.

They can be treated. But your need to demean footballers is probably beyond medical help.

A good player who has definitely beat a man plenty of times.

He's been one of our better players and having him along with G Smith on the left hand side has given us a nice balance we didn't have in the opening games.

I thought he had a decent game today, worked hard n caused their full back problems especially in the second half, was surprised when he got subbed

Thought he did well overall. Almost scored a worldie and also beat one or two men and got a powerful shot off that was blocked near the end. Not a brilliant performance but a more than acceptable one.

Works hard, good close control on the ball, power and pace and certainly had no problem beating a man from what i have seen... Best part of his game for me is late delivery outwide along byline into Danger area... Just need to get more forward in the box attacking those balls. The lads a cracking player hope he joins permenantly.

But yes agree you must be watching a different game. Out of interest do you like or rate any of the team or just critise them. I do wonder sometimes with Hourihane and Pearson getting lots of flack lately, now Harris... Don't get it...

Also to bring Ryan Williams and Digby into it... How is reaction different. Both return from long injury and need a games and confidence. Both showed spells of quality prior to injury. Digby returns, is off the pace and fans jeer him. Williams returns and is so bad he's taken off after 20mins but many applaud him. Whats the difference? Both need games to build confidence and need fans behind them.

    Rant over!

Having watched the Doncaster game, I think he is the only player we've got who is willing to take a player on. When he goes in November, who is going to run at defences? Watkins has pace but doesn't have the ability or tricks to get past a player from a standing start. If you think it is dour now, it's going to be interesting without him.
