On balance for me he gets in my starting line-up.
He does frustrate me a lot of the time but if his head is right he fulfils an important role.

I'd say so as he's more attack minded than Russell. We need to be on the front foot from the kick off and score first

It's a balance between risking him getting injured and being fit and ready for the play offs...or do we go all out to secure the place first and hope to rest him for the final few games.. I don't know what I'd do.

He’s decent but he’s not that good ideally i wouldn’t mind Benson been given a run out tomorrow night just to freshen it up a bit.

Kane needs to be in the lineup. Unpopular opinion but there’s a couple of popular players unbalancing the team at the moment.

I think he'll play. We needed to rotate some players & he was poor in his last appearance, but has been one of our better players in the second half of the season. Russell was played as holding midfielder, to let Connell get forward more IMO.

We are not in the best of form, but we have usually bounced back after a defeat. We really need a win tomorrow. At worst, a draw & no injuries. My confidence levels are low, but I hope the players can dig something out. All is not lost, as yet.

He’s what now ? He’s the reason we are so negative cannot drive forward just tippy tally backwards or sideways.

He would have had a great game against Charlton with all the space and time afforded in midfield.

For me our best midfield by a long way is Connell, Kane, McAtee.

For what it's worth, I believe our best midfield is Phillips, Connell & Kane.

In my opinion McAtee is better up front. He’s got a useful knack of running in behind. He also pressurises centre halves.

I agree with @JLWBigLil . Our best midfield 3 is Connell, Kane and Phillips.
