So much for the links with the likes of Aston Villa and Derby.

Good luck to him. Could be a good signing for Oxford, in that division.

Will do a good job with them I think. They're getting a good squad together.

Derby were after him a couple of weeks ago.

I still think we should have given him another year. Never really got a prolonged stretch in the team, and knew where the net was.

I think so too. Decent bet for promotion this year, I reckon - unfortunately 11-2 seems to be the best available.

He was poor for us , it was a great opportunity for him when he came here and he grabbed it with no hands , his body language during matches suggested he thought he was too good for us which he certainly wasn't. Always looked a tad overweight and disinterested. Good look Oxford you'll need it . I bet he gets 25 now !!!

Looks like they're assembling a squad of our poorer players over the last 2 seasons. What price on them to go down?

He was absolutely useless every time I saw him.
Totally out of his depth & probably lacking confidence.

This is why a move is good for some players. Playing Scottish League football looks to have done the trick.
Good luck to him, he could go on & do well.

I think Oxford will finish top 6. Good side.

Had he had a full pre season with us he may have gone on to score 15-20, but often looked unfit which was probably in no small part thanks to the pre-season injury

However he's proved he's a good player with Dundee so hopefully he'll do well for them

    Are they really though?

They've lost their best players and replaced them with players who whilst looked good on paper were **** for us.

I thought they were better than most league 1sides and whilst I take your point losing 2 of their better players is bound to impact I think their recruitment has been shrewd. Their defence looked solid enough to support a luxury like Crowley and they will be brimming with confidence. I could be wrong and often am.

I've been thinking all the way through the summer Oxford are a good bet to go up.

As I too was impressed with them.

But tonight I've had a look through their squad and I'm not so sure.

Crowley is gifted but there's a reason no one is fancying him. We saw that reason.

Joe Rothwell is also gifted but has struggled to impose himself on league football. Maybe down to illness.

Kane Hemmings I just don't think he's good enough. No doubt he can finish but he just looked so off the pace in League One. Maybe Danny just didn't get the best of him though.

I will have an interest in Oxford this season that's for sure and I really hope they do well.
