I like Hemmings. Thought he was the best of the three strikers we played today.

Worse than Trotta. I don't think so.

Don't get me wrong. I am not particularly a fan of Hemmings, but it is clear that he was played out of position today. Whatever Danny says, Trotta does not link play, his first touch is poor, his passing is worse and his finishing worse still. January cannot come soon enough.

Remember we all slagged and slated Chris Wood when he came here on loan... The worst striker ever?
He was then loan out to Leicester and proved to be one of the best strikers in the championship...

Hemmings was a wanted man in the summer and chose to join the reds... He was unlucky to pick up injury and miss pre season... On his debut he scored a peach of a goal playing as central striker... But he struggled to get starting place ahead of in form winnall and cole... More recently when he has been given an opportunity he has been pushed out wife in a 4-3-3 formation... cole also looks out of sorts pushed out wide...

We certainly haven't seen best of him... But have we backed him?

IMHO emphasises fact Danny needs to play 4-4-2... Wide role doesn't suit him, nor does it suit cole.

Come on Danny sort it out lad

    Who wanted him? Dumbarton?

I'd like to see him up front for a start, regularly, before I join in and write him off.

It's the state of our defence that worries me most. Then our inability to pass to each other. And our lack of width and laikers who try to beat a man. Jennings and Treacy could be the answer, now it seems they're fit again (but for how long?).

    4-4-2, please.

    Turnbull

    Cranie Cowgill/Holgate Nyatanga Dudgeon

    Treacy Hourihane Berry Jennings

    Hemmings Lita

Ramage in there if fit. Winnall up front when fit.

Riley and Danny Rose are both better strikers IMHO

Flogging Danny Rose was a massive mistake nothing that gas happened since has convinced me of anything different.

Should be RNL and Danny Rose. Don't know what happened there (or to my ability to edit the post)

Not even Pisa would be interested in Trotta, so I don't fancy his chances of getting a decent club back home. He is Deon Burton level of abysmal. Hemmings isn't much better but then hopefully we can replace them and strengthen our forward line next month.

I don't think Hemmings' all round game is up to much but I reckon he's a decent finisher.

If we're winning regularly / playing well he's an ideal player to bring off the bench to take advantage but when we're struggling & looking for an outlet he's piss poor
