Good luck to him if he has. He wasn't good enough for us but he tried. Bit odd that he was a regular during a baron spell, but when he had a mini purple patch for us he got dropped and was hardly seen again.
Reckon he can do it at that level. I hope he can go onto become successful in his career. I thought he was a little over criticized but not good enough to say we're trying to get back into the Championship.
Was a trier, but couldn't read the game, or control the football very well. Think he'll do well in conference / L2 , but that will be it.
I didn't think he was as bad as a lot of people made out. I've seen a hell of a lot worse. He could certainly strike a ball. He wasn't sharp enough for this league. That might be due to not yet adjusting, having made the step up, or he may never be sharp enough at this level. But having seen him, I can understand why we took the gamble and with us only offering a one year contract, he'll not have cost us much. He'll leave us with 5 goals from 14 starts. We've spent a lot more money on forwards who haven't managed that strike rate. Best assist of the season too when he rolled the ball for Jennings to strike in the game at Chester. Best of luck to him.
Agree entirely with that. He was never fit - big jump from Scottish Championship, injured early doors & never recovered. Also, he had his chances more when Winnall was out and we were ***** so no real service. Good luck to him.
I thought - and still think - there's a player in there. Rarely given a sustained run in his preferred role up top, and scored/created a handful of goals. The finish against York was memorable, as was the third and killer goal vs Bradford, but I was most impressed with his sharp finish against Oldham and that lovely through ball assist for Hourihane against Orient. Would I have retained him? No. I was one of his bigger fans, but I honestly think we'd be hard pushed not to find better out there. But I wouldn't be surprised if he scores plenty at his next club and we're looking back wondering... Good luck, Kane.
The only source I can find for this rumour is a Football Manager twitter account. Basically, a Luton Town fan playing Football Manager who tweets the players he/she's signed, on that game.
Best of luck to him. Just wasn't quite up to it, but he's still pretty young, and I feel he could go on to be a regular for someone at this level. Certainly got goals in him.
Agreed, just looked on Twitter and can't find owt. Someone told me a conversation was on the BFC Matchday Drinkers Twitter site but must have been deleted
I think he was a trier. I'm sure he's a lovely lad. I think he should try something else. He's obviously not a footballer. Maybe something in the caring professions. Best of luck to him whatever he tries next.
