Interesting Still don't want to see Richards leave though, granted he misses a fair few chances, he helps bring people into the game, and as others have said, he's the only one with any real physical presence. Then again, if we could sign a similar type of player who would get us more goals (whoever he may be) then I'm all for it.

Not necessarily. Theres a difference between a player moving to a team intent on staying up - or a team hunting the Premiership. They already have Nugent and the rest - he may have felt that Preston didn't need a striker.
yep iwelumo was on trial here with gudjon came very close to signing him, oops - would have been free on low wages too
Re: From what i've heard this Hawley is decent. He'd be a a good pick up. hope these rumours are true. Forget all this rubbish about him never having played at this level. From what i remember Howard had't either but he's taken to it like a duck to water.
