Very apt name for her.....just been listening to a few albums of hers. Complex writing, never could work it out. She's certainly an original - can't think of what pigeon hole to put her in.

    RE: What...

Possible genius - even though her voice WAS nasal and irritating. Have a listen to Cloudbusting and England My Lionheart.

    RE: oooo

er how. Wuthering heights was original, some would call it a classic but don't see any other evidence to call her a genius. Overhyped due to that leotard poster imo

You sure she doesn't sound like the Beatles?

She doesn't, but the arrangements do :pff

    that is

    bobbins in my humble opinion.
Besides, the Beatles ripped off every R&B artist from the deep south that released a single in the 50's.

    :pff

    RE: that is

I'm only winding him up Paul - he's been going on like this ever since I said Oasis were a Beatles copy band.

    are they?

    No you tell me.
Went to see them last week in Newcastle. One of their greater performances IMHO!

Shame it was 41 degrees in the arena!

The only shame is that they didn't spontanously combust in that heat!

    RE: are they?

I don't intend to get into this debate again, but I'll just say that both Liam and Noel worship Lennon/McCartney, so it's understandable if they are heavily influenced by them.

Listen to Magical Mystery Tour and Revolver, and you have the basis of Oasis' first 3 albums.

    I know mate

just pulling yer leg but the Beatles didn't write a song as good as Supersonic IMHO. I only see it on about three or four of the tracks mesen. Especially Whatever which is pure Beatles by numbers.
