I don't feel that the goals we have conceded have neccesarily been entirely the fault of the defenders. All four lads at the back played well today. The "experienced" pairing of Craddock & Breen look as though their best years are behind them. Neither of those two would have come cheaply either. I would still like to see either a bit more cover in central defence - or someone considerable better than what we already have. Hypothetically, does anyone think Breen or Craddock is the type of player we need to bring in? I'm not convinced.
I think Breen used his experience a lot of the time to get the better of Richards. But we battled hard and got what we deserved today
Hecky looked more solid than Robbie.... and the rest of the team defended as well.....Disco, Togwell, Howard to name but 3...
I think Breen alongside Kay would be a good partnership, youth and experience and Kay would learn a lot from him, as would Reid, Atkinson etc. etc.
I wouldnt have Breen or Craddock given, a pair of Donkeys working their way down the league.
Anybody who scouts Wolves knows that they need to get the ball on the deck and those two may as well not bother turning up.
