    Loan with a permanent would make sense. Not played many first team games given his age. Southampton please their youths if they’re good enough so think a permanent in some way shape or form isn’t out of the question.

    Don't think there is any substance to those claims. I'm one that mentioned his name on twitter myself more in the hope we get him than anything. He's a class player and someone duff clearly rates but think the OPs suggestion is more likely to be legit
