Was not at the match in Germany at the moment. Those who were there, how did he play? Only saw the back heel on the highlights. Apparently he had a shot really well saved. Has he turned the corner?
i think he turned the corner around the mid season mark personally mate, i just think he is never going to be a prolific goal scorer
he played well, took on a few people, and did have a good effort saved, seems to be playin with a lot more confidence the support for him was magnificent (y)
Thanks I'm probably going to get slated for this, but I just have this faint, tiniest inkling that he will prove to be a very effective player for us next year. Probably not as a prolific scorer, but in terms of effort, size, pace and strength he can't be faulted. With the right guy (Howard up front maybe?) alongside him he could give teams problems. He unsettled Liverpool and Chelsea so anything can happen. Good to see that people are behind him - after Wembley it took some bottle to pull on the red shirt again. (hidebehindsofa)
agree mate. I like Odejayi, think he's an asset for the club. Very strong, quick, holds the ball up well, very good in the air, unselfish..His finishing and composure can improve but I think this can be trained to some extent. Much rather have him in my team than playing against me. Most of all, he works his ballacks off, in training and on match days which matters a lot in my opinion.
Just my opinion and I am in a minority but I would get rid now, wwhile people will pay us something for him, cos he aint good enough. Just my opinion
Thought you would bite Hee hee I'm sure you agree you would rather than I am right than you. I would have agreed with you about 3 months ago, but I just can't get this nagging feeling out of my mind that maybe, just maybe............... Anyway all the best matey!
