In this mornings News of the World is says Barnsley have agreed to pay Cheltenham a club record £300000 for Kay Odejayi.The 14 gal striker will have a medical tomorrow...........anybody know anything on this player?
That's a decent return......... To be honest, but when ive seen him on box he looks a bit gangly and unorthodox
....funny you should say that, I watched him once last season and it wasn't until I bought a programme at half-time that I realised it wasn't the magnificent Fola. Nothing he did on the pitch would have lead you to believe otherwise ! However, he is rated highly by the Cheltenham supporters, but so was McCann and much as he is generally okay he has some flaws at championship level. Final note of caution - he is Ade Akinbiyi's cousin....... S) Cheltenham Town - Barnsley FC feeder club !
RE: Dans replacement ??? nt Would've thought more cover for Istvan, so that there are two tall guys to play with Rajczi or Nardi. Would seem like a fair group of four strikers at this level if Peter can get a good pre-season under his belt and start firing again. (Plus Coulson to develop and cover).
