Probably more that its 2 home wins in succession, sandwiched between a 2-0 defeat at WBA that everyone on here majorly over-reacted to. We're probably overreacting positively to this win too, but its 6 points gained from the last 9, which is the most we could realistically have expected - noting that WBA hammered Ipswich today.
Forget WBA they will win the league and Dowies team did a job on us remembering that first game with virtually a brand new team trying to gell from day one , looked like it is starting to come together today and teams like Scnuthorpe who are hoping to survive have to be beaten.their game plan was to get into our faces and deny us space which worked in the first half but after the own goal as they tired in the second half there was only one team in it.
