<h3 class="headline">Chairman confirms Odejayi bid </h3><div class="articleBody" id="articleBody"> Cheltenham Townchairman Paul Bakerhas confirmed newspaper reports today that an unnamed Coca-Cola League Championship club has made a six figure bid for Robins striker Kayode Odejayi.</p> Speaking to the Gloucestershire EchoBaker said, "It is a substantial offer, of six figures, and would represent the highest figure Cheltenham Town has ever received for a player.</p> "As a club we don't want to accept the offer but the offer is such that if Kay really wanted to go, we would have little option.</p> "But he has another year on his contract and we would like the chance to speak to him, and try to keep him here.</p> "There is also a sell-on clause with Forest Green Rovers so we would not get the full amount."</p> Odejayi was signed from Forest Green in the summer of 2003 for a tribunal-set £10,000 fee with a 25% sell-on clause.</p> The Nigerian-born former Bristol City trainee has so far made 119 starting and 55 substitute appearances for the Robins, scoring 34 goals including 15 during the 2006-07 season</p></div>
