    He went to Sheff Utd

    Yes, we put the bid in first, and Sheff Utd came in at the last minute after we pulled out, but chances are had we pursued our interest Sheff Utd would just have come in earlier and he'd still have gone there.

    I've no doubt about that so I don't even think of him as a player that we lost out on.
