The current backlash against Keeflicker is this........... ............we have been successful this season and their were high hopes at one point But the season has faded away, for no fault of Keeflicker, but now there is a sort of backlash. If we had been in this position all season then I dont think the there would be so many negative comments
Re: The current backlash against Keeflicker is this........... I think you're probably right Nudger. Maybe they are a victim of their own success before Jan which raised expectations but couldn't be sustained. Our season has faded away but for me they have done a damned good job.
Not at all. Majorirty of fowk felt we'd be down by January considering the fowk he signed. He's suffering for his pre-Xmas success. Granted, some of his signings haven't worked out - particularly loans. And some of his tactical decisions have been strange. But I guarantee we wouldn't be in this position had we not lost Butterfield, Vaz Te and Drinkwater. And the majority would've snatched at being in the position we're in now.
where have you got 90% from? Yes there were concerns and even pessimistic predictions not only on this board but in the pubs, clubs, other forums other media outlets. But to pull a figure like 90% out of the air and claim things to be a fact is ******. I believe one thing that i belive is likel to be fact, that a manager with a track record like ours since the new year wouldn't win anything, regardless of what happened previously.
that decent spell pre xmas will probably keep us up,simply because them below us arnt capable of catching us up in the time thats left....but our form since xmas has been terrible, theres no two ways about it,the only bright spot being peterborough, great effort and great atmosphere, you would have thought we were pushing for promotion.....yes weve lost our mid-field,but even with this i'd have expected better,we managed a half decent performance against derby without our big three, but theres been nowt since...negative and strange tactics, especially against clubs well below us and performing terrible, and bringing back nouble are hardly manager of the year potential......I dont know the exact stats but our post xmas run would probably have us about bottom for that given period...so manager of the year?? no way...maybe manager of the month back in october time.....this isnt a anti keith hill post, because in all honesty if he was at a club that could afford to give him some financial backing,or if our board could given him cash to keep our decent players i reckon he'd do a good job...
Re: The current backlash against Keeflicker is this........... Think the same, having said that, still think we'd have been much more comfortable had we managed to finish the season with the same midfield that started it, again through no fault of the management.
