We understand that you have got to develop players. Relax thi batty old ****. But do you ever stop to think of what the impact on the players you have in teh here and now when you are CONTUNIALLY banging on abart Primark?
Really. I bet the players see a completely different Keith than he presents in press conferences and stuff. The amount of times he's said how confident and patient he is with the players he's got is unbelievable - the Primark stuff isn't a dig at them, it's a reference to budget. Nothing else.
Yep......and we are sick of hearing the bleating and moaning about reduced budget, Primark, etc. It was funny the first time now let it drop and let's be positive Keith. If he hasn't noticed, the vast majorty of UK residents have a reduced budget, but you don't see everybody moaning week in week out........they just get on with life.
Dunno whether it does or it doesn't. If it was me, and my manager continually claimed he got all his employees from cheapest, crappiest shop on high street, then I'd feel undervalued. Doesn't mean any of the players at Barnsley will, but it wouldn't work to motivate me. I'm probably a big Jessy.
I can't agree with that. I'd say the subject is under almost constant debate and is regualarly brought up on here as a contributing factor for non-attendance of games. I can see how some of us get fed up of hearing Hill's comments about budget - it just doesn't bother me personally.
But if he was working with you day to day, coaching, developing and making you a better player would you care? I doubt it. Plus, they know they've been bought from Primark. I'm sure the majority are just happy with the opportunity and don't give a ****.
Case in point "I will fight for what I believe in and I believe in the players and what we are trying to do" http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/20206339
